Danielle Womack

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Lyrical

Danielle began her dance training in 1995 and has studied classical ballet and pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, contemporary and lyrical for more than 20 years. Danielle was a principal member of a multi-style dance company for six years, performing solos from such works as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty, as well as a community theater group where she was able to combine her passions of dance and music. When a series of ankle and foot injuries forced her into an early retirement, Danielle was able to focus on her true dance passion -- teaching.

Danielle began teaching in 2005 in Appleton, WI, and has since taught in studios throughout Wisconsin and Louisiana. Danielle has taught preschool through advanced levels of a variety of dance styles, and has led multiple teams to award-winning performances at regional and national competitions. Danielle has also choreographed local school musical productions and is the former choreographer for the Twisters Gymnastics Team of Kimberly, WI.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts from UW-Madison and a Master of Public Health from Tulane University. She continues to expand her dance education through workshops, classes and seminars. She is excited to continue teaching at A Step Above this year!
