Lesemann Marshall

Ballet, JAZZ, TAP, & MUSICAL THEATER

Lesemann holds a BA in Theatre & Dance with a concentration in Musical Theatre from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. During her undergraduate training, she continued her ballet, modern, jazz, and tap training in addition to musical theatre dance styles, voice, and acting. Her training also included music theory, performance analysis, improvisation (in dance and theatre), musical theatre history, technical theatre, directing, and producing.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Lesemann performed professionally in Richmond, VA, including musicals such as Thoroughly Modern Millie & White Christmas (Virginia Repertory Theatre), and Cabaret (Richmond Triangle Players). 

For the past several years Lesemann has developed choreography for various vaudeville and cabaret-style showcases, as well as directed and produced several fringe theatre events. She is extremely happy to begin teaching in Madison, and looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge!
